#Asia 4 startups that dazzled the crowd at TIA Singapore 2017’s Bootstrap Alley (Day 2)

//

As promised in Day 1’s Bootstrap Alley coverage, today we received a brand new batch of exhibiting startups coming from a myriad of tech verticals. I got to speak to many incredibly creative and smart people, all eager to share their innovative ideas. If you didn’t have the time to look through and meet all 141 of them, check out this bunch of startups that we thought were pretty cool.

Ready? Let’s begin!

Touché

While many try to tackle cashless payments by getting you to pay with your phone, Touché opens up a whole new shopping experience with its biometric point-of-sale (POS) solution. With just a touch of your fingers – viola, you’ve just made your payment!

Touché is not just a mobile payment solution. It also records the contents of purchase, helping merchants understand their customer preferences better.

Coffee Break

If you’re a heavy coffee drinker like me, you’ll instantly fall in love with CoffeeBreak! They allow you to pre-purchase your coffees at heavily discounted rates through their subscription plans. The app also has an in-built GPS function so that you can quickly locate partner cafes near you.

Also, kudos to the team for being committed to donating one percent of their profit annually to charity!

OMNI-

Riding a bike is an exhilarating experience, but it can be pretty dangerous as well. OMNI- seeks to help riders be more aware of their surroundings, and empower them to practice better defensive riding with their smart motorcycle helmet.

OMNI-‘s helmet has a heads-up display with built-in voice-controlled features such as the GPS, rear view camera, and vehicle detection system. With these high-tech features in place, it’ll help motorcyclists ride safer, and possibly prevent accidents on the roads.

Fixir

Do you always spend hours online, scrolling through forums, trying to find a trustworthy car workshop? Now, you can save both time and money with Fixir! With just a simple photo or description of the problem, you’ll receive quotations from several different car workshops carefully curated by Fixir themselves!

And with this, we’ve wrapped up another fantastic conference this year! For those who couldn’t make it, we hope you managed to stay up to date on the latest happenings bit via our live streams. Otherwise, you can also easily catch up on all the highlights on our Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube channel!

Stay tuned as we bring you our conference photos next week 🙂
