Singapore-based grocery concierge and delivery service honestbee has announced its expansion to Bangkok.

It will partner with major Thai retail supermarket chain Villa market to provide grocery delivery. All of Villa market’s outlets including its bistro and cooking studio, The Gastro and the Villa Market Holiday Store will offer this service.

A press release said that honestbee’s concierge shoppers in Bangkok will receive training in selecting the best quality fresh foods.

“We have been doing our trial operations here for the past few months and it has been very good, our management and staff are pumped with go getters spirit to create a milestone together with the communities in Thailand”, said Joel Sng, co-founder and CEO of honestbee, in an official press statement.

In conjunction with the new launch, honestbee Bangkok will offer a THB 200 shopping voucher (US$5.70) to new customers. Users will need to key in the promo code “BEEKK” . This offer is valid until 16 April 2017.

honestbee is not the first grocery delivery service in Bangkok. Two years ago, messaging giant Line partnered with Thai e-commerce provider aCommerce to provide grocery delivery.

Launched in 2015, honestbee is now staffed with 146 full-time employees and 1,200 shoppers.

Recently, it launched a laundry delivery service in Singapore.
