MyRepublic, Singapore’s likely 4th telco, has announced its proposed mobile data price plans.

A 2GB data plan will be priced at S$8 (US$5.7) per month; and excess data will cost S$8 (US$5.7) per GB.

An unlimited data plan will cost S$80 (US$57) per month.

For existing MyRepublic broadband customers, they will be able to subscribe at discounted rates – 2GB for $6 (US$4.3)/month with excess data still costing S$8 (US$5.7) per GB; and S$60 (US$43) per month for unlimited data.

MyRepublic is inviting the public to register their interest and express their feedback on the My4thTelco website.

As a point of reference, one local rival telco SingTel offers 2GB of mobile data, 2GB of Wi-Fi data , 1,000 SMS/MMS and 200 minutes of outgoing call time at S$42.90 (US$31) per month.
