Softinn Solutions will be exhibiting among Asia-Pacific’s best startups at Echelon Asia Summit 2016 as a representative of Malaysia.
After kicking off the TOP100 Startup Search in Singapore, the TOP100 Southeast Asia Tour took its first stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After screening over 50 Malaysian applications, shortlisted startups were handpicked by the judging panel to pitch at Maybank Innovation Centre, including teams like Postco and Tripovo. The event was made possible with the support of Innovation Partner Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd. With just three minutes of intense pitching time and five minutes of Q&A, these startups had to impress the judges to make it for the TOP100.
Softinn Solutions was crowned the Judges’ Choice winner, taking it home with SGD$500 cash prize and a booth package at Echelon Asia Summit 2016.
The judging panel consisted of esteemed investors from Malaysia and abroad, including:
- Koichi Saito – Founder & General, KK Fund
- Vishal Harnal – Venture Partner, 500 Startups
- Gavin Lee – Investment Manager, Wavemaker Partners
- Jonathan Lee – Executive Director, Entrepreneur Development, MaGIC
- Victor Chua – Investment Director, Gobi Partners
- Juliana Jan – Chief Investment Officer, Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd
Founder JeeShen Lee started Softinn as a website development project for local hotels, and from then has grown into a reliable hotel e-commerce platform provider with its cloud-based booking and inventory management system. Softinn currently powers over 400 hotels, vacation houses, BnBs, homestays and even small theme parks across Malaysia. They have their sights set on Southeast Asia – and a vision to be the Micros-Fidelio for boutique hotels.
Scores from all 14 city qualifiers will be tabulated to determine the ultimate TOP100, who will showcase their innovations amongst the region’s best at Echelon Asia Summit. Grab your tickets now to catch all 100 startups live!
