Entrepreneurship isn’t confined in any way — be it the success story you can write or the person you are. In recent years, you might have noticed the handful of young people who have made a remarkable impression in the world of entrepreneurship.
The old saying, ‘youth is the future of our nation’ is taking new benchmarks. The future is getting redefined by these teenage brains. Believe it or not, but today we’ll be talking about six kid entrepreneurs who are probably earning more than you and are, and who will be helping make the years ahead better for us.

Moziah Bridges
Fourteen-year-old Moziah is from Memphis, Tennesse and is the CEO of Mo’s Bows. Also known as the mini fashion guru, until mid-2015 he managed to earn around $2 million annually. His website mowsbowsmemphis.com offers you a series of affordable and stylish handmade bow ties. With an employee base of seven people to date, his staff includes his grandmother and mom.
If his current age and vision surprises you, stay prepared to get amazed, as he was just nine years old when he started his company. Initially, he had been marketing his company through Facebook, Etsy, and word of mouth. However, today with this popularity and massive accolades for his bow ties, things are just moving with the flow.
Zuriel Oduwole
Everyone can come up with a business idea, but not everyone can execute it perfectly. Meet the girl who perfectly executes her idea. So we once again have another 14-year-old entrepreneur who holds the badge of being one of the youngest filmmakers and education advocate. She released her first documentary entitled The 1963 OAU Formation in the year 2014 (yes she was 13 at that time). Not only this, after the release, she became the youngest person ever profiled by Forbes.
To date, she has produced four documentaries and is known worldwide for her advocacy. She has interviewed some of the most influential and powerful people, including the prime ministers and presidents. As of now, she is on a campaign ‘Dream up, Speak up, Stand up’ — an initiative to promote girls’ education in Africa.
Essynce Moore
At the age of 13 she isn’t just the founder of a spa and boutique business for teens and tweens named Essynce Couture, but she is also the author of a book titled, 6th Grade Middle School Chronicles. In her community, this young teenager is known as a motivational speaker.

Mikaila Ulmer
This girl from Austin, Texas got fascinated by bees after being stung by them twice. Once while going through her family’s cookbook dating somewhere in 1940’s she found a recipe for flaxseed lemonade. When she mixed together her two fascinations, the 11-year-old girl gave birth to Me & The Bees Lemonade.
She isn’t just an entrepreneur earning through her idea, but also has a soft heart towards charity. After sweetening the lemonade with bees’ honey, a percentage of the money that she earns gets donated to the local and international organisations working to save honey bees. Warren Cassell Jr.
At the age of 17, he is an entrepreneur, journalist, and a writer. This young brain is the most influential and respected businessman of the Caribbean. Talking about his career, he started with a personalised greeting card business. He is also author of two books: The Farm of Wisdom: 25 Unforgettable tales that will ignite a Wiser you and Swim or Drown: Business and life lessons I’ve learned from the Ocean. While the former was his debut in the year 2013, the latter followed the very next year.
He gained accolades not only as an entrepreneur, but also as an author, as both his books became Amazon bestsellers. Asia Newson
Imagine meeting an 11-year-old entrepreneur who also works for charity. Those who have met Asia, have only one word to describe her: FEARLESS. She is the founder of SuperBusiness Girl, which is a cold-calling startup selling candles. With the money she raises through sales, she helps the needy kids in Detroit.
In the coming years, she has plans to launch some shops in Detroit downtown and other parts of the city. She once mentioned in an interview, “Since I was about 4 or 5-years-old, I’ve always had, like, the vibe, or, like, I don’t know, little power ball that keeps me going.”
These kids have made a big difference, with their inclination towards doing good things and helping the needy further making them inspirational. One thing is for sure: there’s a better word waiting for us ahead, with young entrepreneur-minded kids like these six.
