Loopring – decentralized, automated trade execution system reducing trading costs
PROJECT : Loopring (LRC) provides a decentralized, automated trade execution system that intelligently implements trades across the world’s crypto exchanges, reducing risk and trading costs (for ERC20 tokens initially). Orders are automatically executed while trade’s funds remain under their control in a decentralized smart contract on the blockchain. By pooling the liquidity of cryptocurrencies, this startup is building the financial system of the future.
TEAM : LRC’s Management Team is composed by Daniel Wang (founder), Jay Zhou (CMO) and Johnston Chen (COO), as well as huge network of world renowned advisors and contributors.
PRODUCT : This decentralized, automated trading intelligence interfaces between crypto exchanges and blockchains, using its balance sheet to enable users to realize liquidity many times greater than available directly in the market, by both generating liquidity within the platform and breaking orders into small pieces that are placed across all market venues simultaneously. As long as a blockchain has smart-contract support, LRC can be implemented, and all ERC20-like tokens on such a blockchain can be traded under this platform.
COMMUNITY : The Fellowship of the Ring (FoR) community is now officially funded by LRC’s Foundation. The Fellowship of the Ring seeks to attract open source developers (also mathematicians, game-theorists, economists, translators or any other specialization we might find fruitful for the moment) who wish to be rewarded in LRC for their contributions to Loopring’s project.
