The Cranium One co-working space has opened its doors on Victoria Island in Lagos, designed for early-stage businesses, freelancers and entrepreneurs.
Cranium One aims to provide a conducive working environment and a supporting community to foster successful connections and growth amongst small businesses.
The space offers high-end private offices, an open office space, hot-desking, networking events, high speed internet, capacity building workshops and seminars, a meeting room, a communal kitchen and dining space, a soundproof call room, and pay-per-use services such as a projector screen, printer, scanner and storage.
Founder Olaotan Towry-Coker said he had always done his best work while collaborating with like-minded people, and felt launching Cranium One would foster a community spirit among its entrepreneurs.
“I had a pretty sizeable office space which wasn’t being utilised to full capacity and I would have friends and colleagues who needed work space work out of it from time to time,” he said.
“Our goal for Cranium One is to create a large network of collaborative workspaces, each one sharing the ideals of co-working, which are collaboration, socialising, openness, sharing and productivity.”
Cranium One aims to provide a collaborative, engaging work environment to shares resources and ideas.
“In addition, Cranium One will provide a selection of interactive, experiential learning classes that cover topics such as creative thinking, business growth strategies, and project management, so individuals can develop skills that give their work and play new energy,” Towry-Coker said.
“Cranium One will also provide consulting services such as brainstorming facilitation, branding, innovative marketing, workspace and workflow analysis to external clients.”
