#Asia ANGIN welcomes a new day with new investors, advisors, and portfolio companies

Indonesian angel investors network ANGIN today announced new additions in their organisation, from new investors, advisors, to new portfolio companies.

In an official statement, the organisation announced new angel investors Veronica Colondam (Founder YCAB Foundation), Victor Fungkong (Chairman of Indonusa Group’s operation and first investor in Tokopedia. Previously the managing partner of leading law firm Makarim & Taira S.), Metta Murdaya (Co-founder of skincare company JUARA Skincare), Edy S. Tan (Chairman of the Twin Focus Tech Initiative in Southeast Asia, who recently co-founded and co-chaired Medan Tech Valley), and Julio Arias (a diplomat in Jakarta).

It also welcomes new advisors Luke Roush (Sovereign’s Capital), Adrian Li (Convergence Ventures), Yansen Kamto (Kibar) and Michael Goldberg (Case Western Reserve University).

The following companies are the latest addition in ANGIN’s portfolio:

Landmapp
Operating in Indonesia and Chana, Landmapp is a mobile platform that provides affordable maps and surveys smallholder farmers. According to a description by ANGIN, “By creating reliable data products for the smallholder,
buyer and service provider, they are unlocking the value of land.”

Currently on pre-seed round, the startup recievs angel investment from across Europe and Asia.

Summit Healthcare 
Summit Healthcare aims to educate local healthcare professionals –particularly nurses– on the latest best practices and most up-to-date care techniques. Summit Medical is also an authorised international training centre for the American Heart Association.

The company had secured its seed round by Sovereign’s Capital and Maloekoe Ventures.

Qontak
Qontak is a platform that collects business contact details for marketing executives.

The company secured seed round from Indonusa Dwitama.

Apart from the new investors, advisors, and portfolio companies, ANGIN also announced a new website and logo.

Founded in 2013, ANGIN claims to be first and largest angel investor network in Indonesia. It focusses on pre-seed to seed investments with average ticket size of US$50,000.
