Gain valuable insights from industry thought leaders in Japan at this conference, which will be held in Fukuoka on March 3 and 4 2016
Leading Japanese VC B Dash Ventures – which offers a range of funding from seed to late stage in global markets – is back with its 2016 edition of one of the largest private startup conference B Dash Camp: an invitation-only tech summit for key technology executives and startup
founders in Japan and from abroad.
The summit, entitled “B Dash Camp 2016 Spring in Fukuoka”, will be held in the southern Japanese city of Fukuoka from March 3 to 4 2016.
B Dash Ventures says that this event will be “a place for guests to springboard their businesses globally with sessions, lectures, and network with both local and international Internet company founders.”
In the past, this event has been graced by leading Japanese industry thought leaders including high profile CEOs (from Nintendo, Yahoo! Japan, DeNA, and Mixi), corporate heads and directors (from Fuji Television, NTT Docomo, Rakuten, and Dentsu), Japan heads (from Facebook, Uber Japan, Universal Music, Salesforce.com, and Warner Japan Music), and even celebrities (music artist Tetsuya Komuro, actor Masi Oka, pro-footballer Hidetoshi Nakata, and actress Angelica Michibata).
This year’s B Dash Camp promises to be just as, if no more, power-packed than previous iterations.

Programme lineup
This year’s programme lineup will have one new feature: the “Guest Connector” programme.
With this addition, startups will be able to approach a concierge desk to request introductions to specific people or types of companies (for example, large e-commerce players, early stage VCs, etcetera). The concierge desk will then connect the guest with the relevant parties directly at the event.
Other usual programmes include “The Pitch Area”, which is a pitching competition for early stage startups. There will be panels and talks about Japanese and Asian industry trends, market entry, and more. Networking sessions with fellow CEOs and executives will also make a return..
Fees
The attendance fee is priced at ¥55,000 (US$490).
Since this is an invite-only event, interested parties can send an email to event@bdashventures.com should they wish to attend.
