InnerChef, a Big Data-based food discovery and delivery startup, has acquired two food tech companies – Flavour Labs in Gurgaon and EatOnGo in Bangalore.

With the acquisition of Flavour Labs, a restaurant-on-wheels company, InnerChef has entered the mobile kitchen space. With the EatOnGo acquisition, an on-demand meal service, InnerChef aims to deepen its presence in Bangalore.

“These acquisitions will help InnerChef deepen its offerings to the two of the fastest growing markets in India: NCR and Bangalore. We are also acquiring awesome talent who share our passion for food and technology,” said InnerChef Founder Rajesh Sawhney

“We are building a network of kitchens in each city, mobile kitchens help us to be closer to our customers and create an intimate food experience. With EatonGo acquisition, we will increase our coverage of two of the most exciting parts of Bangalore: Indiranagar and Koramangala,” said Bal DiGhent, Co-founder of InnerChef.

Started last year by Sawhney, Founder of GSF Accelerator, InnerChef specialises in a range of ready-to-eat products spanning across European, Mediterranean and Indian cuisines. Customers can choose from a wide variety of all-day breakfast, salads, paninis, combos, mains, snacks, drinks, along with curated desserts and cakes.

Its ‘Indulge by InnerChef’ is a hyperlocal desserts marketplace where talented home bakers and neighbourhood bakeries can offer their products to millions of customers across the country. It is the go-to desserts marketplace for customers and dessert makers.

InnerChef currently operates in Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai.

Last September, InnerChef raised around US$1.66 million from a group of individual investors, including Phanindra Sama (redBus), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Paytm), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), and Vishal Gondal (GOQii).
