Tech boutique law firm, Simmonds Stewart, has launched some exciting new content for tech startups in SE Asia.
It includes guides on raising seed and series A capital. Plus more than ten free template legal documents. Having embraced legal tech and disrupted New Zealand’s legal environment with nearly 50 free template documents, the firm has set their sights on SE Asia. The templates include a KISS convertible note based on the 500 Startups document, seed investment documentation, a Series A term sheet, a due diligence checklist and others.
The firm is very active advising on capital raising and tech M&A transactions across Southeast Asia. With the guides and templates, they have tried to think about the issues SE Asian start-ups face. This might be structuring your fundraising transaction, protecting IP, preparing for due diligence or flipping your company to investor-friendly Singapore. Over time, the firm will expand the library of documents further.
