The mobile wallet is particularly useful for travellers

CentrumDirect, a financial institution offering financial services like foreign exchange services for investment, insurance and mutual funds, has recently announced its partnership with Singapore-based fintech company MatchMove to offer a full-featured mobile wallet to its customers.

CentrumDirect’s mobile wallet, specifically for the retail market, comes with a MasterCard that can be used for online and in-store transactions, leveraging on the widely accepted MasterCard network, with added features such as P2P fund transfer, inward remittances, offers and loyalty facilities.

CentrumDirect is poised to acquire more than half its existing clients within a year. Partnering with MatchMove allows CentrumDirect the speed to market and accelerate its user acquisition initiatives.

Founded in 2009, Singapore-based MatchMove is a financial technology company that provides innovative, end-to-end enterprise payment solutions, with offices in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, India and The Philippines. The company recently received a funding of US$30 million.
