Housed within the exuberant cluster of pubs and clubs in Clarke Quay is a new events venue — one that matches the lively and free-spirited vibe of the area.

Huone Singapore, a concept events space that originated from Finland, wants to help companies break away from drab meetings; and through using a series of funky-themed rooms, inspire them to reignite freshness and creativity in their discussions.

The team at Huone Singapore will also work with attendees to maximise their Return on Meetings (ROM). Through preliminary discussions, attendees can share their event goals and the support team will work towards fulfilling them by customising the layout of the room, bringing in caters and even adding fun activities such as Zumba classes or crafting activities.

Additionally, Huone Singapore also provides soundproof phone booths, speaker systems, gin and tonic and other products (designed to help productivity) crafted by Finnish brands.

So without further adieu, here are the 11 concept rooms. Feast your eyes on them.

No events space is complete without a bar. This one looks pretty well-stocked, a treat for the liquor connoisseur.

This is the cloud room, where fluffy ideas take flight.

Nothing invites intimacy and cosiness more than the earthy smell of wood and warm colours.

Soaking in the green colours from the forest decorations of this room would help with relaxation. And when you are more relaxed, more fruitful discussions tend to happen.

The igloo room will provide a respite from the hot and humid climate of Singapore. What better way to break the ice!

And here’s the exterior of the igloo.

The nesting room may well be where your next great idea gets birthed.

This room is modelled after fashion catwalks. Though I’m not sure you are supposed to strut up and down this table.

This is the sandbox room, which resembles a cabin or hostel. Get comfy with the bean bags and pillows.

Not entirely sure if using seats as swings is such a great idea. Anyhow, it is probably better than sitting stationary.

No better place to unveil your grand masterpiece than the theatre rooM!

I’m not sure what this spacey-looking room is inspired by. Are those lights on top supposed to resemble galaxies?

Huone Singapore has brought in a little local flavour for this one. This is more of a corridor than an actual room. Conduct meetings like it’s 1955!

The warehouse room has one prominent feature — that oval-shaped chair that looks like it was grabbed out of a Men In Black movie.
