We’re at the final countdown for this year’s Echelon Asia Summit, and the excitement is real. Here are some of the events we’ve planned out for this year’s tech marathon that you simply cannot miss.

This is it folks. We’re just a day away from the big event, and we want to make sure you know what not to miss in order to get the ultimate Echelon experience. So sit back, relax and find out what highlights await you in the Echelon Asia Summit 2016!

The 3 Awesome Stages

Watch 100 motivated startups pitch at an actual boxing ring, right here at the Create stage! Watch as we unravel the winner of the much anticipated TOP100 competition here – and you even get the opportunity to witness speakers give out their captivating speeches!

The Build/ Reach stage, while not as intense and heart-pounding, is committed to educating and informing people on topics that include cloud tech and big data – pretty much inspired by the world-renowned TED talks. So come in with an open mind and (hopefully) with the willingness to learn!

Lastly, we have our Future Stage. This zone is all about breaking boundaries and doing the impossible. Here you’ll witness fireside chats on big ideas and future industry trends such as augmented and virtual reality technology. Stop by to see if the future really is bright in the world of tech!

Echelon After Dark

There’s no doubt that a lot of us would just want to let loose after two hectic days of Echelon. Thanks to Echelon After Dark and Singapore’s effervescent lifestyle, there’s still a lot to look forward to after sunset!

On Day 1 we have the Singapore PubCrawl, where attendees will get the chance to hop around bars in Clarke Quay and gain free entry into a nightclub. Later that night, attendees (if not already tipsy) will be able to attend the networking drinks sponsored by GREE Ventures. Grab your Echelon tags and head over to Match and then BANG BANG later to party it up!

If that’s not enough, the last day will feature our official afterparty at Club Kyo that starts at 8! Bring your Echelon Tags and celebrate what will be an enthralling and eventful two days of the conference – the best conclusion you could have asked for!

EC Connect

When we talk about the most valuable thing you can take out of a conference, the general consensus is usually that there’s nothing more important than making connections.

And what better way to do so than EC Connect, our very own speed dating session that gives folks the chance to impress their target investor. So if you’re participating, make sure you remember to be punctual, stay confident and of course K.I.S.S (that is, keep it simple startup!)

TOP100 Exhibit and Competition

Ah, now this is the big catch – the TOP100 startup search puts 100 spirited startups into the spotlight (or the boxing ring, if you like). Both exhibition and competition have always been an integral part of the Echelon conferences, and we’re thrilled to have them pitch, exhibit and be exposed to make a lot of valuable connections.

The triumphant startup will also be expecting some exciting prizes, some of which include a trip to the IDEAS show in Taiwan, the e27 Platinum Pass and dedicated structured networking. So make sure you drop by the Create stage to witness this startup showdown!

Community Lounge (Powered by Garena)

Because we want to gather more collaboration between non-profit organisations and startups, we’ve partnered up with Garena to make this happen! Featuring sessions by Shopee University and pre-registered workshops by Girls in Tech SG x MakeyMakey and General Assembly, we’ve got a lot going to ensure that there will be enough learning and collaboration opportunities between these two players!

Additionally, we’ve added in Free & Easy sessions, so feel free to use this lounge to meet, catch up with other regional folks in the area, or just use it to take a breather from all the epic activities we have in store for you on these two days.
