#Asia Fintech Center of Korea signs MoU with Singapore FinTech Consortium

Fintech Center of Korea also held a demo day to promote co-operation of Korea and Singapore in the fintech industry and also to purse globalisation of fintech innovation

Fintech Center of Korea has signed an MOU with the Singapore FinTech Consortium, under which the two institutions will provide proper aid to fintech companies from the partner country.

The signing ceremony was held in Singapore Expo today.

Sopnendru Mohanty, CTO of MAS, and Hak-kyum Kim, Standing Commissioner of the Financial Services Commission of Korea, and Gerben Visser, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Singapore FinTech Consortium, participated in the signing ceremony.

Mohanty and Kim also discussed the future of fintech innovation with Yu-shin Jeong, Chairman of Fintech Center of Korea, and Dong-hyun Ahn, President of Korea Capital Market Institute.

The Fintech Center of Korea also held a demo day to promote co-operation of Korea and Singapore in the fintech industry and also to purse globalisation of fintech innovation.

Eleven Korean fintech companies participated in the event and demonstrated their unique technology in the Korean pavilion in the Expo.
