Moderator: Michael Agustin

Michael Agustin is a Resident Mentor at MaGIC’s MAP program. He recently founded Weaver, a more fun and visual way to communicate.

Prior to Weaver, Michael co-founded GameSalad, which gives users without any programming experience the ability to create iPhone and Android games using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Today, over a million games uploaded to the iOS App Store have been created on GameSalad.

Panellist: Edwyn Chan

Speciality: Travel

Edwyn Chan is the Founder and Chief Everything Officer of Spottly; which aims to re-imagine travel guides for the social mobile era through socially curated travel recommendations. Spottly has been featured in the App Store and publications such as Conde Nast Traveler, LA times, and Timeout and is seed funded by 500 Startups, Cherubic Ventures and Gobi Ventures.

Prior to starting Spottly, Chan was with the National Basketball Association and was responsible for the official NBA China, Taiwan and Hong Kong website. Edwyn graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University and has an MBA from the joint MIT and Tsinghua University programme.

Panellist: Guillaume Sachet

Speciality: Food/Media

Guillaume Sachet has close to 20 years of experience in the media and telecom industry. He is the Head of Strategic Planning at MediaCorp, where he drives group strategy, corporate development as well as Innovation (the Mediapreneur’s incubator).

Currently, he sits on the Board of Cubinet Interactive, a Malaysian digital games publisher, which MediaCorp has a majority stake in, as well as on the Board of EventClique, a Singaporean social ticketing gateway.

Panellist: David Jou

Speciality: Fashion

David is Co-founder and CEO of Pomelo Fashion, the largest vertical online fashion brand in Southeast Asia. With a team of over 100 people, the company is headquartered in Bangkok with additional offices in Singapore, Seoul, and Jakarta.

Jou began his career in New York City as a consultant at Bain & Company and at New Mountain Capital, a US$10 billion private equity firm based in New York. He is also the proud owner of “Jpeg the Cat”, who most recently was featured as a LINE sticker on Pomelo’s official account.

Panellist: Moo Natavudh

Speciality: Publishing/ecommerce

Moo Natavudh is a tech entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in founding, funding and managing tech companies. He is currently the Founder and CEO of Ookbee, SEA’s biggest e-book store with a market share of over 85 per cent in Thailand.

Besides Ookbee, he’s also Venture Partner at 500 TukTuks, a US$10M USD micro-fund focused on promising Thai startups.

Panelist: Takahiro Haneda

Speciality: App Trends

As the APAC Marketing Director of App Annie, Takahiro Haneda supports App Annie’s effort in empowering app publishers and developers to build a better app business across Asia. He currently oversees marketing in the APAC region such as China, Korea, Southeast Asia and Japan.

Previously, Haneda was the Director of Marketing at Uzabase in Japan, where he was instrumental in building SPEEDA, a B2B business information platform and NewsPick, a B2C business news curation app, which are widely popular among business professionals in Japan.
