The 500 Startups-accelerated Thailand-based startup doesn’t just help connect employers to employees, it curates them
Thailand-based tech recruitment platform GetLinks has raised US$500,000 seed funding from CyberAgents and 500 Startups.
It will use funds to expand into the Vietnam and Singapore, which it deems the “hottest” tech job markets.
GetLinks’s current list of employers in Thailand include Google, UBER, LINE, and Lazada.
Launched in 2015 by Co-founder & CEO Djoann Fal, the tech recruitment platform isn’t just a job search site – it curates the quality of the jobseekers similar to a headhunting agency: once a candidate signs up, he or she will be vetted, and only the outstanding ones will be selected for an interview.

It then monetises by taking a fee from the recruiters every time they make a successful hire.
Beyond its online platform, GetLinks also partners with offline tech events – including BKK Startup Job Fest, drink entrepreneurs and angelhack – to outreach to potential tech talents and companies.
To facilitate its entry into the Vietnamese market, it is a co-organising the Saigon Tech Startup Fest, which is expected to host 3,000 attendees. It has also secured partnerships with other key tech players in Vietnam’s ecosystem, including Viet Youth Entrepreneurs, SHIELD, Startup.vn, and Young Entreprenuers Saigon.
The Government of Ho Chi Minh City has even authorised GetLinks to hold a tech community event at Vietnam’s Independence Palace on March 12.
“We had been searching for a business that could solve recruiting problems for tech companies for a long time before we met GetLinks team. As we usually work closely with our portfolios, we understand that recruiting is one of the biggest obstacles that startups have to face…I truly believe that GetLinks could disrupt the job market for tech company not only in SEA but also globally,” said Dzung Nguyen, Head of Vietnam and Thailand, CyberAgent Ventures.
