Larger corporations show their support to these startups exhibiting at Echelon Thailand 2015 on November 26-27 at BITEC, Bangkok
Echelon Thailand 2015 is all about showcasing the best startups and innovation that the Mekong region has to offer. To this end, we have garnered the support and association of a few large corporations who see real value in encouraging startups. Read on to know more about the startups and the sponsors behind them.
Accelerate to success
dtac Accelerate is one of the most well-known accelerator programmes in Thailand. It was first set up as a way for dtac, a telecommunications provider, to help startups tap all kinds of resources that they wouldn’t be able to access otherwise — from mentorship opportunities to getting educated on how they can scale a business and build innovative products.
It is also one of the most loyal and long-time supporters of e27 and our events in Thailand. The accelerator has outdone itself this time with Andrew Kvalseth, Head of the Strategy & Innovation Division, speaking at Echelon Thailand 2015.
At Echelon Thailand 2015, dtac will be bringing down the following six startups.
SKOOTAR
SKOOTAR is a web/mobile based application that helps connect SMEs with available scooter messengers in the area. It also aims to make delivery processes more efficient by calculating and combining similar routes to optimise time and cost, benefitting both SMEs and messengers.

It has made several investments so far – including one in Thailand-based social media management tool Page365 and another in SuperAwesome Asia, a marketing channel targetting children.
At Echelon Thailand 2015, Inspire Ventures will be bringing down the following three startups:
Deliveree
Deliveree is a mobile and web app enabling customers to deliver almost anything. The app is a comprehensive marketplace, connecting users to drivers for fast, safe and reliable deliveries to key metro areas across Southeast Asia.

All things finance
Last but not least, while this is the first time KBank, or Kasikorn Thai Bank, is supporting our event in the country, we don’t doubt that the financial institution shares our vision and enthusiasm for startups. KBank is keen on helping entrepreneurs better understand the fintech industry and working with them to provide consumers with a better, friendlier experience.
Teeranun Srihong, President, KBank, will also be speaking at Echelon about how we can all drive financial innovation in the region – watch out for that!
At Echelon Thailand 2015, KBank will be bringing down the following two startups:
ChocoCard
The motto for this startup is ‘One Loyalty Card for All Rewards’. Applicable to both cardholders and businesses, ChocoCard is the first company in Thailand that offers you the tools to connect and improve efficiency on both sides.
FlowAccount
Flow Account is an easy-to-use cloud accounting solution designed specifically for small business owners, which helps them create invoices, track payments, enter expenses and view reports with ease.
