From Stockholm to Silicon Valley to Singapore and now Indonesia, Andreas Ehn is all set to take the Echelon stage this April 5-6 in Jakarta.
Technology, startups, freedom, travel. These are just some of the things that fascinate Andreas Ehn – the ex-Spotify CTO, Wrapp CTO and co-founder, ex-Stardoll employee, and now board member and angel investor at Approach.
When he was Spotify’s first employee and CTO, Andreas brought together the world-class tech team that designed and built the music service’s platform and product. Andreas now invests in “products [he] wants to exist” – including Clue, which is the world’s fastest growing and one of the sleekest period tracking apps which helps women understand their bodies and take control of their reproductive health.
He is also frequently hired as an advisor by promising Internet startups and venture capital funds to conduct due diligence on technical capabilities and strategic fit.

Approach is Andreas and business partner Lisa Enckell’s five-year project with an aim to learn more about the world by living in ten different countries. They divide their time across immersing themselves in the chosen countries, working with local startups and investors, and making early-stage angel investments in the local markets. They are currently rounding up their exploration of Indonesia.
With that, Andreas is all set for Echelon Indonesia 2016’s Start stage – helping to place a spotlight on trends and insights, thought leadership and radical ideas made possible.
