Hari Krishnan’s appointment as PropertyGuru President and Chief Business Officer will be effective in January 2016

LinkedIn executive Hari Krishnan will be joining the PropertyGuru Group, which owns top online property portal PropertyGuru, as President and Chief Business Officer from January 1, 2016, the company announced in an official release today.

Krishnan will lead and accelerate regional business growth, with the Country Managers and Sales Enablement teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia reporting directly to him.

At LinkedIn, Krishnan is Managing Director, APAC and Japan. The University of Mumbai alumnus joined LinkedIn as its first employee in Asia in 2009 and was its Country Manager in India before being promoted to his current position.

He has held leadership roles in Fox Interactive Media, Yahoo! and Cisco. He was also VP for Product Management and Marketing at Indian hotel and holiday booking portal Travelguru.

Krishnan’s appointment comes after James Sundram, who was former PropertyGuru MD (International), left to head YuuZoo Corporation as CEO in October.
