Despite a few hiccups, edtech space continues to grow with companies raking in hundreds of millions of dollars in funding

Edtech space is one of the hottest sectors at the moment and is witnessing a good level of investor interest. The sector witnessed its highest funding volume last year, where about US$3.5 billion was invested, and 2016 seems to have kept the momentum, with over US$822 million already raised by 107 companies across the same number of deals.

In line with this, Tracxn looks at some of the most innovative companies that have kept the interest in the edtech space high.
