Reed Hastings, the CEO and cofounder of Netflix, stood on stage rattling off the list of countries like an overexcited middle school student preening in front of a geography class — or, in this case, the tech lovers at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas

Azerbaijan. Vietnam. India. Nigeria. Poland. Netflix, he revealed last week, had just that moment launched in 130 countries.
