#Africa 10 Nigerian startups selected for Growth Academy accelerator

//

10 Nigerian startups have been selected to take part in the three-month Lagos-based Growth Academy accelerator programme, run by the Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) incubator and powered by Intel.

Applications for Growth Academy closed last month, and 10 startups have now been chosen to receive support in growing their startups into profitable and sustainable enterprises.

The startups will receive innovation support and access to the value chains of big industry partners to help them scale their user bases, with the programme to culminate in a demo day.

Included in the cohort are retail management solution Verge, ridesharing platform GoMyWay, maternal health platform Mamalette, online car hire platform EasyHire, and academic portal Edves Suite.

The rest of the group is made up of on-demand delivery service Drop Buddies, outsourcing marketplace Wesabi, tutor platform Tuteria, outdoor advertising marketplace Vacantboards, and e-learning app startup Genii Games.

The 10 startups will now receive training and mentoring from industry experts, and training in growth hacking and market linkages.
