2015 was an especially unique year for the startup pitching scene – it was the first year Echelon Asia Summit’s 2015 TOP100 Programme was introduced. As Asia’s most comprehensive startup search, this start-to-end programme aims to find and groom the best startups across the APAC region.

The launch of TOP100 was inspired by the core of the Echelon brand, dating all the way back to Echelon’s humble beginnings in 2009 – to empower startups and champion startup eco-system. At all Echelon conferences, startups have been put at the forefront – pitching their hearts out to investors, media, c-suite executives, government bodies and other attendees at the main conference.

And it’s paid off- In a survey conducted recently by the Echelon team, nearly 20% of exhibiting startups received funding after Echelon!

With nearly 600 startup entries for our TOP100 last year from 18 countries in 2015, we are expecting double the amount this year and applications are still being accepted.
