Peer-to-peer learning and social networking platform Circledoo aims to help users exchange skills, expertise or ideas through offline meet-ups. The Indonesia-based startup announced today that it has secured US$200,000 in seed funding.

How it compares to competitors: Circledoo’s platform is equipped with an online payment system, making it easier for users to monetize their talents and skills.

Circledoo claims it is “the first social network skill sharing platform in Indonesia, possibly also in the world.” The platform is already hosting a number of teaching “circles” covering such diverse topics such as government relations in the financial industry, English for business speakers, and the convergence of music and technology.
