Speaker Bios

Cheryl Yeoh – Cheryl the former Founding CEO of MaGIC. Her notable accomplishments are in buidling the startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia, from contributing biweekly opinion columns on The Star Newspaper, to launching Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC). She previous co-founded Reclip.It (acquired by Walmart Labs, 2013). She blogs at cherylyeoh.com.

Andy Sitt – A serial entrepreneur, Andy boasts 18 years of in-depth knowledge in building online businesses, centered on creative content.  As the industry began shifting focus towards larger quantity and cheaper content, he seized the opportunity to start 123RF, a microstock library, in 2005. 123RF has shown significant growth ever since, and is now Asia’s largest crowdsource stock library with more than 61 million assets, 300,000 contributors, 5 million members and 44 office locations worldwide.

Yeoh Siew Hoon – Yeoh Siew Hoon is the founder of WIT, launching it in Singapore in 2005 and going on to launch WIT editions across Asia Pacific. In 2016, WIT Europe made its debut in London, days after the Brexit vote. WIT has won several awards including Most Innovative Marketing Initiative and Trade Conference Of The Year from the Singapore Tourism Board and in 2014, Siew Hoon was recognised Tourism Entrepreneur of The Year. A journalist by profession and passion, she’s also a speaker and facilitator at events around the world.

Khailee Ng – Khailee is the Managing Partner of Silicon Valley’s most active seed venture capital firm, 500 Startups. The firm has done over 1,600 investments in 50 countries, of which I’ve led 120+ investments in Southeast Asian tech startups, including Grab, Carousell, Bukalapak and other regional champions.

Jacqui Hocking –  Jacqui began as a visual storyteller with a UN Global Climate Expedition, and went on to work with global brands like Unilever, Standard Chartered and P&G. Realising the power of stories to share and scale business solutions, she is now the Founding & Managing Partner of VSS: Vision Strategy Storytelling to help visionary companies get more visibility. She is also cofounder of LateNite Films in Australia, and Exec director of the Singapore Eco Film Festival. A two time TEDx speaker, she is working to build the B Corp Movement into Southeast Asia.
