India-based ecommerce unicorn Flipkart has acquired F1 Info Solutions, a repair and service provider for mobile and tech products that has outlets all over the country.

Terms of the deal are not disclosed. F1 co-founder and CEO Shammi Moza will join Flipkart as senior director and continue to manage the business.

Flipkart will make F1 a part of Jeeves, its own third-party repair and service network. The addition should help the ecommerce company increase its support capabilities when it comes to mobile phones, which are a significant part of Flipkart’s online business, and other consumer electronics.

“[F1’s] expertise and scale is a big capability add-on for us. Ultimately, we want to give our customers a comprehensive service ecosystem that takes care of the repair and service needs of all their products,” says Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy.

F1 was founded in 2012 and claims to have 158 service and repair centers in 135 cities in India. It’s a service partner for international brands like Apple, Samsung, HP, Lenovo, Sony and Asus.
