Founded this year, SBricks wants to hit 300 orders per day in the coming months; this acquisition will help it do that
As a facility management company, Melway provides its clients with cleaning, security and catering services. With this acquisition in place, SBricks will have access to 200 home cleaning professions from Melway, as well as to the latter’s clientele.
Nithin Reddy, Founder and CEO, SBricks, said, in a statement, “Melway adds tremendous synergy to our growth plans in home cleaning services business that is growing at a rapid pace.”
Reddy added that SBricks is scoring 125 orders a day, and aims to hit the 300 orders a day in a few months’ time.
Founded in 2011, Melway will continue to operate with the same management structure and name.
“We believe that a ‘hybrid’ model is the way forward in our sector,” continued Reddy. “We wanted to take the lead by consolidating our business through acquisitions and building our ‘SBricks’ brand in the market.”
“The Home Cleaning Services will grow rapidly in the coming years and the best way to go forward is to leverage this potential and join forces rather than having a turf war,” he also said.
To date, SBricks, which was founded in 2015, has a headcount of 50 staff members. It claims to have a clientele portfolio made up of cinemas, individual homes and small apartment blocks. The company is looking to grow within its home base in Hyderabad, and then expand into other South Indian cities.
