It’s a ‘ruff’ dog-eat-dog world out there but this co-working space near Seoul Forest Station wants to help you and ‘udders’ out
There are a tonne of cafes in Seoul that you can work out of with free Wi-Fi and lots of power outlets, but if you’re looking for a quieter spot that comes furnished with startup mantras, a conference room, phone booths and shower rooms, Cow and Dog might be it.
Located near Seoul Forest Station, Cow and Dog is a co-working space that targets entrepreneurs and other professionals who just need a dedicated space to work out of.
According to Time Out, Cow and Dog is the truncated version of ‘Co-work and Do good’. While it might look like a standard cafe with its high ceilings, warm lighting and beverages for sale, do not be mistaken. This facility is only for people at work. Go there on a date and you might be shown the door immediately.
Cow and Dog is on the first two floors of a nondescript greyish building. On a Monday afternoon, only about half of the tables are occupied. It is quite easy to grab a chair and plop your laptop down to work. In fact, I wrote this article out of the co-working space after photographing it.

I took the elevator up to the second storey, which is home to a couple of private meeting rooms. Cow and Dog requires guests to make reservations, so do remember this before you jump into one of these boxes for a meeting.
There are also phone booths for those who need some peace and quiet while making a phone call.
One thing I really liked about Cow and Dog’s space is that it has showers for both genders. Step right in, lock the door (of course) and take a cold shower before starting work. How sweet is that?
The same floor also has a relatively large conference room that people can book to host meet-ups and talks.
And now, we’re back on the first storey. For those who are weary or need a bit of fun before work, feel free to play a game of foosball.
We didn’t manage to verify if this is the mascot of Cow and Dog, but we thought he’s a pretty cool-looking milkman.
