The platform provides AI tools offered as modules in language, vision, speech and reasoning for developers to build their own AI computing systems
Arya.ai, an India-based startup providing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for developers, has secured US$750,000 in pre-Series A round of funding from YourNest Angel Fund and members of VentureNursery, an angels-backed accelerator.
Arya.ai plans to utilise the funds to accelerate product development, according to an official statement.
The startup had earlier raised two round of funding from VentureNursery members.
As per the agreement, Girish Shivani, Fund Manager at YourNest will join Arya.ai’s Board.
The startup was established in 2013 by IIT Mumbai researchers Vinay Kumar Sankarapu and Deekshith Marla, with the mission of making machines intelligent to assist humans in faster and effective decision making in their professions.
Arya.ai provides advanced AI tools offered as modules in language, vision, speech and reasoning for developers to build their own AI computing systems.
The Mumbai-based company claims to have worked with developers in the travel, research, e-commerce, customer care, medicine and banking industries, and plans to engage in other verticals, including automobile, military and defence, going forward.
“In the next five years, we expect to see more intelligent machines that understand us and relieve us of routine tasks. These AI systems can revolutionise the way we work as professionals and individuals,” said Co-founder Kumar.
Recently, niki.ai, another startup in the AI space, raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Ronnie Screwvala’s Unilazer Ventures.
