Leading travel search marketplace ixigo wants to check this ‘menace’. The company has just launched a new app to help travellers book coolies at railway stations and porters at airports all across India.

The app, ixigo coolie, has features such as ETA, type of coolies, price guide (you don’t need to bargain) and coolie profiles so that you can see their past ratings, languages spoken, user reviews and much more.

The company claims it has aggregated over 1 million coolies all across the country. ixigo is aiming at gradually on-board a larger base of coolies and porters to the app from all over the country.

ixigo coolie app will be available on both the Android and iOS platforms.
