Slush is the focal point for startups and tech talent to meet with top-tier international investors, executives and media
Finland-origin Slush will arrive in Singapore on 20 September 2016, during the inaugural Singapore Week of Innovation & TeCHnology (SWITCH). Organised in partnership with Singapore’s major innovation & enterprise event Techventure, Slush Singapore will take place at the Resorts World Convention Centre in Sentosa, Singapore.
Slush Singapore will gather together startups, tech talent, investors, and media from around the world. The event is expected to attract over 1,000 attendees globally, including startups and investors. This year’s theme is about technology and future creation, the changing economy and reinventing education. The first speakers are announced on the event website, and more names will be released in the weeks leading up to the event.

Slush is the focal point for startups and tech talent to meet with top-tier international investors, executives and media. The event is now spreading globally and igniting startup ecosystems in Tokyo, Shanghai and Singapore in addition to Helsinki.
Slush is organised by a nonprofit community to allow the next generation of great entrepreneurs and companies to have the ecosystem they deserve to succeed on a global level. To accomplish this, Slush brings the relevant investors and founders to the same place to connect in one-on-one meetings.

Singapore is a perfect hotspot for connecting the Western investors and businesses with the regional ones. The timing for Slush Singapore could not be better”, said Anna Ratala, Head of Slush Singapore, in a press statement.

Founded in 2008, the non-profit event brought together 15,000 attendees, including 1,700 startups, 800 venture capital investors and 630 journalists from exactly 100 countries in its 2015 event.
