Startup Launchpad will showcase the 10 most promising startups from the Mekong region at Echelon Thailand 2015 on November 26-27
Echelon Thailand 2015 is less than two weeks away! In the lead up to the event, we sent out a regional-wide call for up-and-coming startups from around the Mekong region in the hopes of finding the 10 most promising and bringing them to Echelon Thailand. We did it and are proud to present the first five of the 10 startups.

CarBengkel (Malaysia)
CarBengkel (Bengkel in Malay means ‘workshops’) comprises of two mobile applications that matches the needs of all types of car services. Be it in terms of repair work, warranty service maintenance, breakdown and tyre changes, it is the one-stop app every driver needs. CarBengkel also serves as a platform that provides service and repair quotations of the nearest workshops based on the services the workshop provides. The app provides the operating hours as well as the availability of mechanics.
CyRadar (Vietnam)
A cyber security startup from Vietnam, it aims to bring new technology to the field of security solutions to protect business networks as well as end-user devices. Its first solution is CyRadar, a next-gen advanced threat detection system, using machine learning and its own technology Malware Graph – a reputation graph database to help enterprises detect new threats faster.

CancerCare (Vietnam)
CancerCare focusses on supporting cancer patients with a platform that enables patients to interact and choose doctors, get updated treatment methods information, drugs and also purchase with discounted price to reduce treatment costs. It’s current focus is on Vietnam, ASEAN and developing countries, but the startup hopes to go global soon.
KYKLO (Thailand)
KYKLO is the first Southeast Asia based e-commerce platform for B2B distributors in the electromechanical industry. Its mission is to remove market inefficiencies in the B2B distribution of electrical and mechanical products via a SaaS e-commerce platform. By leveraging its expertise and taking an innovative approach, KYKLO has created an all-inclusive e-commerce platform that is bound to revolutionise the industry!
BaganTrade (Myanmar)
BaganTrade was founded on April 2015 with the aim to bridge Myanmar and the global market by providing an online marketplace for trading and other business opportunities.
It is Myanmar’s first and the only one online platform to promote local businesses and engage globally. According to the company website, within six months of the launch, there are 500 plus registered companies and 2000 plus products.
Echelon Thailand 2015 will take place on November 26 and 27, from 830 AM to 530 PM with an exclusive after-party that runs till late. The event will be hosted at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). Tickets are available for purchase online.
