Stave off sleep with a watch that sends out electrical impulses to keep you awake
Yesterday, we at e27 covered 4 sleep-tracking devices that will help you achieve some quality shuteye. Now, Ukraine-based startup SpecTechPRO wants to help you accomplish the opposite — making sure that you don’t fall asleep.
It has developed an anti-sleep IoT device called the NOZzER watch. SpecTechPRO claims that it is more efficient than other conventional anti-sleep devices such as the Anti Sleep Pilot, which sends out visual and audio alerts to wake you up.

Most people drift off to sleep due to a lack of neural activity, something most sensors cannot detect.
While the NOZzER watch is not equipped to detect a decrease in neural activity either, it can boost it by generating tactile sensations in the user to keep them awake.
With its Active Mind Maintaining Technology (AMMT), the user can use the device to transmit weak electrical current pulses for 0.2 seconds every few seconds right to his or her brain to maintain consciousness.

The NOZzER watch comes in a sleek steel body with an OLED display. It is also powered by a Li-Pol battery and uses a MicroUSB slot for updating and charging.
Its Indiegogo campaign is only at 3 per cent of its US$71,000 flexible goal, with seven days left on the calendar.
If you want to find a way to endure those painful meeting marathons without looking unprofessional because of your droopy eyes, go fund this now.
