honestbee recently raised US$15 million in its Series A funding round, which it plans to use for expansion
After marking its entry into Hong Kong in October, Singapore’s on-demand grocery delivery service honestbee is set to land in Taipei later this month.
On-demand concierge grocery delivery service honestbee delivers to your doorstep on the same day, within a one-hour window. Customers can choose from the products on offer, the store they want it from and its trained shoppers pick the groceries from the chosen grocery store and deliver.

In a notification asking people to sign up as their first customers in the region, honestbee said it will hold a soft launch in mid-December around the Shinlin district in Taipei.
honestbee began its operations in Singapore around July this year and has now expanded to Hong Kong and Japan. The startup recently raised US$15 million in Series A funding, led by technology investment firm Formation 8, to fuel its expansion ambitions.
After its launch in Hong Kong, it had announced plans to expand across Asia and expects to be in at least six other Tier-1 cities, including Taipei, by June 2016.

The startup competes with the likes of leading player RedMart, however unlike the latter keeps stocks in warehouses, honestbee does not own any inventory. Instead it has tie ups with brick and mortar stores.
honestbee doesn’t charge a markup on in-store prices, but charges delivery fees unless customers make a minimum order.
