At Echelon Indonesia 2016, it is time we demonstrate the need for businesses that make a greater impact
Let’s admit it now, we need to stop with the typical booking or transportation apps; scale-up our startups to create innovation above and beyond our wildest imagination.
We should be actively seeking out new creative technologies to solve hard-hitting issues around the world. There have seen glimpses of it through solutions such as Zenius (Indonesia), Thinx (USA), Seabin (Australia), Simply Giving (Regional) but more can be done.
Enter Jonathan Yaffe, Founder and CEO of AnyRoad, an entrepreneur and educator who believes in the power of leveraging a global strategy to build locally-focused businesses. He will be speaking at Echelon Indonesia 2016 on a topic close to his heart – “A Digital Nomad’s Mission Towards Life And Business Without Borders”.

Yaffe is extremely passionate about solving problems in education and income inequality, and he moved back to California after 11 years in Japan, Brazil, and Colombia, in order to build AnyRoad with his brother Daniel.
He is also the founder of KAIS International School in Tokyo, a unique student-centered school with small classes, student-centered curriculum and a diverse student-body — with kids hailing from 26 countries. Also, the school is close with the Mirai Institute, the first independent think tank in Japan, and Midori.so, a network of creative incubators, co-working spaces, and art galleries in Tokyo.
