Delhi-based online travel social network Tripoto has announced a partnership with Amadeus Next, the startup chapter of global travel tech solutions giant Amadeus.
Through this collaboration, Tripoto will have access to Amadeus Next’s travel search and booking data, as well as its technology.
This includes deepening of Tripoto’s A.I to deliver personalised solutions for its user base. It will also enable end to end holiday planning and transactions on the platform.
“We have one of the richest sources of UGC (User Generated Content) travel data available at Tripoto. The partnership with Amadeus enables us to enhance our data and also leverage their technology to build upon our existing solutions,” said Anirudh Gupta,Co-founder and CEO, Tripoto.

Founded by IIT Delhi & ISB alumni Anirudh Gupta & Michael Lyngdoh in September 2013, Tripoto offers around 300,000 curated user-generated travel itineraries, created through its web and mobile publishing platforms.
It claims a visitor rate of 2 million per month, and a cumulative reach of 15 million travellers in its online community.
Last year, it raised an undisclosed pre-Series A round led by IDG Ventures, with Outbox Ventures joining.
It also raised a seed round earlier in November 2014 from Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal (Founders, Snapdeal), Sachin Bhatia (Founder, MakeMytrip and Truly Madly), Outbox Ventures, among others.
Amadeus is a leading carrier of advanced technology solutions for the global travel industry, with customer groups that include travel providers (airlines, hotels, rail and ferry operators, etc.), travel sellers (travel agencies and websites), and travel buyers (corporations and travel management companies).
It employs around 13,000 people worldwide, across central sites in Madrid (corporate headquarters), Nice (development) and Erding (operations), as well as 71 local Amadeus Commercial Organisations globally.
