Australia’s tech darling Atlassian went public on the U.S. stock market Thursday, after months of speculation.
With 1,259 employees in five countries, Atlassian’s bread and butter has been enterprise software, which it says aims to help teams « get stuff done. »
Apparently, people around the world like getting stuff done, because the company listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker code TEAM with a valuation of US$4.4 billion (A$6 billion). At a time when investors are increasingly nervous about tech IPOs, it is a remarkably healthy price.
