Australia’s tech darling, Atlassian, has released its first diversity report with a note stating it will do better.
Atlassian, an enterprise software company that went public in the U.S. last year, publicly admitted women make up only 25% of its workforce and less than 2% of those on staff are African American.
The report released on Tuesday shows much needs to be done in diversifying the company. The figures indicate the company is predominantly male and white. It is in a similar position to tech giants in the U.S., which are attempting to increase female and minority hires.
