LOS ANGELES — Maker Studios is teaming up with its star YouTube creator Felix Kjellberg, a.k.a. PewDiePie, to create a new network.

Revelmode, which will focus on content, community and charity, will include a roster of hand picked talent whose “voice and aesthetic” align with the brand, which is driven by Kjellberg’s own experiences and ideas

The brand revolves around gaming culture. Hence its name: “Mode is a commonly used term in gaming, and ‘revel’ means entertainment — a celebration, a party, even pranks or mischief, and ultimately fun,” Maker said in its news release. Read more…
