During an appearance on the New York radio station Hot 97, Jackson criticized Jordan Peele’s film Get Out for casting British actor, Daniel Kaluuya, instead of a black American actor. He argued that an American person of colour would understand the struggle of interracial dating in America more than one born in Britain where interracial coupling has had a longer history.
