Singapore-based personal finance portal MoneySmart.sg, which raised a US$2 million Series A funding last year led by SPH Media Fund, has launched a new app Swipe available on the iOS.

Swipe helps consumers pick the right credit card for the right deals, thereby maximising their cashback, air miles, rewards points and discounts.

The app starts by prompting users to select the credit cards they are using. Then, it will display a full list of current credit card deals available to them – and the corresponding cards applicable to each deal. In addition, users can also filter credit card deals based on their proximity to the partnering outlets, and check out deals for other credit cards.

These deals span the gamut of categories including dining, shopping, grocery, travel, entertainment and petrol.

“Unlike bank specific credit card apps which only give you deal information available for a particular bank’s cards only, Swipe allows you to access all deals with a single app. Moreover, Swipe does more than just aggregate deals. The app empowers you to view all your credit cards inherent benefits at your fingertips, so you can make a smarter financial decision,” said Vinod Nair, CEO of MoneySmart.sg.
