#Asia Healthcare startups are stepping up in Thailand, takes advantage of mobile popularity

Here are 8 healthcare startups to watch in Thailand.

healthcare startups

The Thailand startup ecosystem is steadily growing, what with the government support and the increased attention from investors. As the fastest-growing e-commerce market in the region with a 147 per cent mobile penetration, Thailand is an attractive market for tech startups.

Healthcare, on the other hand, is becoming digitised as more and more startups are starting to create solutions for the problems that have plagued healthcare – long waiting times, lack of service discovery tools, and inefficient patient management systems, to name a few.

So, we crawled through the e27 startups database to give you this quick list of healthcare and wellness startups in Thailand.

1. YesMom

2. SmartHealthCare

3. DoctorMe

It allows users to gain access to legitimate medical and health resources from reputable institutions and platforms. It currently supports Thai language only, with an English-language version in the works.

4. MediTech

Technology development company that created SenZe, an eye-tracking communication device that aids paralysis patients. The product specifically uses sensors to allow paralysis patients to visually communicate through eye movements.

5. TopDocs

Most of the listed are available as mobile applications, a fitting platform for a country with over 21 million smartphone users. But as health institutions begin adopting tech into their systems and as new tech are being developed, digitisation is poised to change the way Thailand does healthcare.
