TechSG hopes to connect entrepreneurs, investors, technology providers, government agencies and industry associations
‘s NUS Enterprise announced today the launch of a new entrepreneurial platform called TechSG, a resource meant to connect key players across the industry.
The ecosystem includes entrepreneurs, investors, technology providers, incubators, government agencies and industry associations.
Lead by Professor Wong Poh Kam, the director of the the NUS Entrepreneurship Centre, TechSG will function as an up-to-date directory, resource about company Founders and history, and an information provider for how Singapore startups interact with one another.

The new product runs on an open-wiki platform so users can update and personalise their profiles — with an emphasis on being able to adjust the person’s relationship with other members of the community.
It is supplemented with a natural language processing engine to crawl the Internet to keep the information up to date and relevant to visitors without an immense human time commitment. Also, its Application Program Interfaces will integrate feeds from partner organisations such as updates, event notices and press releases.
Finally, the programme will implement a survey feature into its offerings.
TechSG is sponsored by IMB under its Digital Cities Initiative and is curated by the research team at NUS Enterprise.
