Zenefits, the $4.5 billion human resources software startup that has been plagued by “compliance failures” and executive upheaval in recent weeks, also may have violated basic HR standards internally with its debauched office culture.

The Wall Street Journal reported this week that Zenefits was compelled to send a note to its employees in San Francisco urging them not to have sex in the office stairwell after used condoms — amid other trash — were discovered there.
